Creative. Producer. Technologist. Entrepreneur.
These four words describe me perfectly.
I’m a creative who loves process. I’m rooted in traditional storytelling techniques, and I love telling those stories using the state-of-the-art technology. In home, out-of-home, online or at retail, I excel at communicating with my audience. And it’s even better when I do it in a completely new and surprising way.
Throughout my career, I have always sought the unconventional path. This has led to some very interesting and unexpected places like France, where I filmed the Tour de France for 10 days using only smart phones. Each night uploading the footage so the waking American audience would have fresh content from the other side of the world. Or the home of 60 year old marathon swimmer Diana Nyad, who encouraged other women to be fearless as she prepared to attempt a 103 mile non-stop swim from Cuba to Florida without a shark cage.
At my core, I’m a problem solver. Whether I’m building a new discipline for my company, or a national digital signage network for a client, I enjoy the process of facing a challenge and figuring out how to meet it in a completely different way.
I apply this entrepreneurial approach to every aspect of my career. Assess the problem and address the need. It fuels my passion for marketing and branding. It gives me a reason to keep moving forward every day and makes for some very interesting stops along the way.
