Vice President of Video and Events, Fidelity Investments, Boston, MA   2014-Present
VP, Executive Producer, Creative, MEplusYOU (formerly imc2), Dallas, TX   2010-2014
At MEplusYOU, I built a team that included film/video production, creative business affairs, print production, art buying, digital asset management, design implementation and interactive development. As a creative leader, I consulted with clients and account teams to guide their use of motion media in their creative executions, and integrated with copy and design teams to instill best practices for production. I designed and implemented the policies and procedures that govern the way we managed Studio business and defined agency wide best practices. I was actively involved in new business pitches and the organic growth of existing accounts from brainstorming to final concept execution. Clients included Verizon, P&G/Secret, Pizza Hut, Radio Shack, M&M/Mars, Burt's Bees, Louisville Slugger, Enterprise Rent-A-Car and multiple pharmaceutical brands.
VP, Content Director, Creative Technology, DRAFTFCB, Chicago, IL   2005-2010
My role was to understand and to assess such emerging technologies as mobile media, digital signage, addressable TV, hypersonic and holosonic audio and RFID (radio frequency identification) and their practical applications as marketing vehicles. My contributions led directly to organic account growth in excess of $1 million dollars annually with Fortune 100 and 500 clients. I became an expert at speaking directly to the consumer by combining traditional broadcast storytelling with cutting-edge technology and managed multiple programs intertwining content and context. Clients included State Farm Insurance, Kmart, Qwest, United States Postal Service, SC Johnson, Jack Daniels and Centocor Ortho Biotech.

Senior Producer, Broadview Media, Chicago, IL   2001-2005
My primary responsibility was the development of a multi-media discipline within this successful traditional production company. I provided creative direction and oversaw execution of multi-media programs, software development and interactive audio/video programs for clients like Motorola and educational publisher McDougal-Littell. I also produced traditional projects for clients including HGTV, American Heart Association and United Way.

Senior Interactive Producer, marchFIRST, Chicago, IL   2000-2001
I helped define a hybrid role for senior level producers, giving them management responsibility for clients and vendors as well as internal teams of creatives, producers and strategists, thus providing producers with greater control of the complete life cycle of a project. My secondary charge was to develop and to grow a broadcast production practice within the internal Brand Building Group. I was responsible for all aspects of Broadcast and Interactive production from concept to completion. Clients included NetGov.com, 3Com and Northwestern Memorial Hospital.

Senior Producer/Writer, Norton Rubble & Mertz Advertising, Chicago, IL   1995-2000
Managing Partner, 20/15 Web Group, Chicago, IL   1999-2000
Tasked with building a broadcast discipline for this boutique agency, I was responsible for all aspects of Radio and Television Production including creative concepts, budgeting, production and finishing. Under my guidance, broadcast production grew to become a thriving core competency for the agency with several large-budget productions to our credit. Clients included Raynor Garage Doors, American Society of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeons, Verio (national Internet service provider) and Masonite (a division of International Paper).

In 1999, I was chosen by the partners of Norton Rubble & Mertz Advertising to become managing partner of 20/15 Web Group, a subsidiary company, which was an Internet-based business solutions company specializing in business web design. As managing partner, I was responsible for fostering client relationships and overseeing project development. Clients included Masonite (a division of International Paper), the American Osteopathic Association and the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery.

Freelance – Creative/Technology Services, Springfield, IL   1993-1995
During these two years, I continued to refine my creative skills as a writer, director and producer for a number of local agencies and organizations that included the Central Illinois Advertising Association. I began to explore my interest in technology and assisted the Illinois State Police in a major re-development of the software used to report crime statistics to the FBI by building database-driven proofs-of-concept.

Broadcast Producer/Director, Kearney Advertising, Springfield, IL   1992-1993
As part of an in-house production facility, I was involved in all phases of video and audio production that included writing, producing, directing and editing.
